Zambesi celebrated their 40th anniversary at NZFW this year with a truly breathtaking show housed in the Auckland Library. Chinese model/beautiful bundle of energy Alice Zhou was on-hand to capture all the good vibes going down backstage, and of that, there were plenty!
Beehive hair, midnight nails and 80s-inspired graphic eyeliner seemed to be the beauty brief backstage, and all the cute models pulled it off with aplomb. On the makeshift catwalk, models dressed in smart, cosy threads took selfies and devoured books, proving that reading really is the coolest.
No photo diary is complete without a great ending, and lucky for you, this has got one. After the show was over, Alice headed home with her makeup intact to find a shocked neighbour, who thought that her friend and neighbour had finally turned into a goth girl. Lol!
