The True Meaning of Timeless at Anna Quan’s MBFWA Show

Sydney

— May 17, 2019 —

We can always count on Anna Quan to design a collection full of wardrobe essentials that we desperately want and need. Much like Phoebe Philo, she has an uncanny ability to pump out pieces that are in tune with the everyday lives of the women who wear them. Forever indebted.

An effortless celebration of the female form, the collection took us on a journey through the more tonal end of the colour palette, from sunshine yellows and browns to pale blues and greys. As cosy as the colours themselves, she leaned heavily on dreamy and luxurious fabrications with lightweight cottons, stretch fabrics and wool knits. Delicious! Some key highlights: a caramel ribbed maxi dress, a utilitarian-inspired dress and shirred waistband dresses.

Our pals at Maria Farro took care of the shoes with their #stunning Winona slides (which we wanna live in for the rest of our days) and cutie pie Ryan Cullen was there to capture everything go down.
