Favourite look/collection you saw in the Fashion Night show?
Nineteen99! The screenprints and the live music at the runway were an absolute treat! I was so intrigued that I looked them up later to better understand their story and designs. I think, as a designer, you've really hit the mark if people remember you and want to know more about your garments.
And the best look/s on the show attendees?
My love Jess Molina! The sheer black dress was absolutely stunning and she is just such a gorgeous human!
Best thing about being a creative in Aotearoa?
Community vibes! Everyone is really welcoming and encouraging and will absolutely cheer you on!
And the worst?
Not enough opportunities especially when it comes to fashion. We're a pretty young country so hopefully, with time, we establish our own identity and role in the industry on a global scale.
