Anna grew up in Lower Hutt, a “pretty peaceful” place in Wellington where “nothing bad really happens.” It was big enough not to inspire too much boredom, but having been born and raised there, she’s endlessly curious about the world that exists outside of it. Good thing she’ll be off and away travelling next year!
The little babe recently finished high school, and like most sane people, misses how lit it was to be able to see your friends erry day. Her biggest idol in life is her dad ‘cause despite not being able to see him all the time, she’s forever grateful that he’s been supportive of everything she’s wanted to do.
If she could only listen to one genre for the rest of her life it would be hip hop, and she’s currently frothing the show ‘Shameless’ above all others, but acknowledges that’ll “probably change any minute” because she watches too much TV. Based on those two answers alone, we know we’d get along with her very well.
Back in 2014, Anna was scouted at a Miley Cyrus concert, after bookers from 62 Models approached her and said they liked her look. She went into the agency the next day, and the rest as they say is history. Above all else, she’d like to be remembered as a good person. In her words: “I don’t really want anything special but to me, being a good, kind-hearted person is the most important thing you can be.” *Heart melts.*
To her, being ‘cool’ is having confidence, believing in yourself and not being scared of what others think. What a legend.
