For Resort '24 industry sweetheart Alix Higgins is back with a very cute lineup of models and a collection inspired by his mates. We sent Joel Lumbroso backstage to peep all the action and we asked Higgins a few quick Qs before the show!
How would you describe your label in a sentence?
Future-facing poetry, an armour of sorts, blurry, somewhere between magical and real.
Did you have a particular person in mind when designing this collection?
This collection was very much inspired by my friends, in particular Chloe Corkran, Annaliese Griffith Jones and Joan Banoit. It’s about a sort of feral/chic person, with a wildness about them.
Most exciting and most overwhelming thing about fashion week?
Most exciting thing is just seeing everyone, seeing all of my fashion friends. And of course, sharing the collection. I hate keeping a secret. The most overwhelming thing is the lack of support.
