GANNI is here to reignite your zest for life with their Spring Summer 2022 collection. “This collection is all about taking it higher,” says Creative Director, Ditte Reffstrup. “It’s a celebration of saying ‘yes’ to everything. Throwing your arms around the world again, embracing our love for life, and re-igniting our love for ourselves.”
They took things to the next level *literally* with a runway show at Copenhill, an artificial ski slope that sits high up among the clouds in Copenhagen—278 feet above ground level to be exact. A green power plant that burns waste instead of fossil fuel, it was a fitting location for the brand whose main focus is on recycled materials and waste reduction.
Cute models like Blue Lindeberg and Imani Randolph floated down the tree-lined runway, while the factory below turned non-recyclable waste into renewable energy for around 100,000 local homes. They were dressed up in splendid creations designed with your best post-pandemic life in mind—the form-fitting illustrative dresses with ruching and fishnet skirts being two of our faves.
Coolest guests Marzy Lovejoy, Flame Faire, Chili Dia and Michelle Li soaked up the vibes while emitting some seriously good vibes themselves. At the end of the fun-filled day local sweetheart Betty Krag handed over her rolls of film to us, feat. 99 cuties who you can spy in the gallery above.
