Victoria

Sydney

— April 8, 2018 —

Victoria Jada (known to her friends as Vicky) is a 21-year-old Leo currently living in Western Sydney, Australia. While she says she’s always had it easy, her parents “struggled a lot” which helped to shape her into the “positive and hopeful” person she is today. After spending less than five minutes with the ray of sunshine, it’s no surprise that her life motto goes a lil’ something like this: “There’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and just because your today was bad, doesn’t mean tomorrow will be bad too.” *Furiously scribbles this sentiment onto bedroom wall.*

Up until recently, the smart angel was studying a Bachelor of Oral Health in Wagga Wagga, but decided to take a break to pursue modelling after a rare opportunity came her way. You probs won’t believe it from looking at the above gallery in which she appears to be a seasoned pro, but Vicky only started out modelling a couple of months ago—while she was keen to get going at 16, her parents wanted her to finish high school first. Her favourite ever model is Naomi Campbell, because “she’s so fierce” and the on-screen character she relates to most is Gabrielle Union in Bad Boys, because she too is prone to finding herself in “risky situations.”

The coolest thing she’s learned in 2018 so far is not to give a damn what people say about her, and the three most important things to her in life are her faith, family and people. She loves our generation, because we can be whatever we want to be.

“We can make our hobbies our career,” she explains. “We can always work on ourselves to be good on the inside, and when you're good on the inside that goodness will naturally come out, and you won't find the need to bully, or hurt, or hate on someone else.” <3.

Vicky defs considers herself to be a spiritual person, because she “always turns to [her] faith in every situation” and also because she’s a big fan of meditation. When she needs a hit of inspiration, she looks no further than Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou or Bishop T.D Jakes, and when she wants to chill, she’ll listen to music or read.

2018 is set to be a big one for the cute angel—she's most looking forward to the “amazing opportunities” that are coming her way and for the chance to use her platform to influence people in a positive way. In the next 10 years, she wants to tick off the goals she’s set for herself and “hopefully start a family.” And for the world, she prays for peace and for “everyone to love their neighbours as they love themselves.” To her, ‘cool’ is “being comfortable with yourself and taking things lightly—don't stress yourself out.” True!
