Hold onto your hats, CPC friends, because Saks Potts just presented their latest collection in Paris and it might just blow you away. In collaboration with vintage car dealer, L’Art de L’automobile, they staged their show deep down in a basement in the 6th arrondissement, home to many too fast, too furious cars, from Lamborghini's to Porches. *A$AP Rocky’s Yamborghini High plays in the background.*
Fashion’s favourite racing car driver Lewis Hamilton’s motorbike was propped up on a pedestal in the centre of the presentation, surrounded by actual earth angels dressed in the latest genius wares to come from Barbara Saks and Catherine Potts. Our girl Sandali (who you met in Glebe many moons ago), was there to bring the collection to life. This marks her first season in Paris, and Born to Ride was her debut show! Can we get a round of applause?
The collection itself was a cross between best ever movie Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and Christina Aguilera’s Dirrrty video clip, aka sweet heaven on Earth. Blue motocross leather suits kept models ton sur ton with the vintage whips, Irene G became a hot contender for our fave model of the moment, divine human Dei Dei confirmed that there’s a giant green pants hole in our wardrobes that needs to be plugged immediately, and it’s hereby official that there ain’t nothing chicer than a pair of lacy stockings paired with heels.
