Marlo currently resides in Sydney, and loves that there’s a milli things going on here at any given point. She never gave modelling a serious thought until last year, but has since experienced so many amazing things and wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s currently in year 12, and so most of her time is split between studying, procrastinating her studying and hanging out with mates. The glory days!
You can catch the beaut human chilling in the city from Monday to Friday, and ankles deep in nature come the weekend. Sarcasm is her default humour and she is full to the brim with ~useful~ facts that she has read along the way. For instance, did you know that a million ‘hundreds and thousands’ sprinkles weigh 5.24kg? We didn’t until she told us, either! While she doesn’t identify as being a spiritual person herself, she can understand why people get behind spirituality. If she wants to get the creativity flowing, she’ll throw an artist called Mantarabryn on the speakers, especially when drawing.
She loves that our generation is “placing a higher value on world issues” because it will lead to “positive change in the future”, and thinks the biggest misconception regarding models is that they can take a good photo anywhere, anytime. The best piece of advice she’s received is that “you are never going to be right all of the time, and so it’s best to admit it when you aren’t.” Very wise!
Cool to her is “a kind of effortlessness in your style and confidence in who you are.”
