Strolling around the park with a bunch of stellar humans dressed in fun clothes is always a recipe for a good time. And so, to celebrate our pal Imogen Wilson making the move to Sydney (welcome, boo!) and to introduce you to a slew of fresh new faces, we decided to do exactly that one sunny Saturday morning last month.
There was giggles, there was all the makings of your dream winter wardrobe (gingham, turtlenecks, knits, hoods, and suits galore), there was cool rock formations and there was nothing but blue skies up ahead. And, you best believe we were there to fire a series of ~very serious~ questions at our new friends, the colourful answers of which you can read below!

Where are you from and where do you live now?
I was born in Kenya, then moved to Adelaide. I now live in Bronte, Sydney.
What are you most excited about for in 2019?
I’m excited to model full-time, to work with so many great brands and designers, and to hopefully travel the world. I want to go overseas and work the fashion weeks in London, Paris and New York.
Outside of modelling for this shoot, what do you like to do?
I love exercising, watching my favourite YouTubers’ newest videos. I also love sleeping.
What do you like to get up to on the weekend in Sydney?
I like to go on adventures and for long walks along the beaches. I’ll do my grocery shopping and prepare my weekly meals. I hang out with the models who live nearby and I have family in Sydney, so I visit them when I can too.

What are you most excited for in 2019?
Self-growth, accomplishing goals, and building and exploring relationships. I’m extremely excited about putting in the self work this year to be the best version of myself both in work life and personal life.
Outside of modelling for this shoot, what do you like to do?
I really like to take time out to care for myself. Modelling is an amazing job, but just like any other job it can be both psychologically and emotionally taxing.
What social or cultural issues are most important to you at the moment?
Beauty standards in the fashion industry. They portray an image that isn’t realistic to most of society. As a model, it’s important to me that I don’t feel as though the work I’m putting out there is having a negative impact on someone else.

I like to go swimming. I’m training for an ocean swim, so I need to practise!

Human rights in general. There’s so much inequality in the world, be that gender or racial.

What I’m most excited for is actually happening right now. My whole life, I have always wanted to go to Australia, and here I am. I’d love to go to New Zealand, too.
What social or cultural issues are most important to you at the moment?
I think the amount of plastic we consume is really, really bad for the environment. I’ve seen plastic at the beaches here, and it’s sad. The ocean is such a huge part of the planet.

I like to go to a few cafes and walk around. I really like to be a tourist in my own city!
