Liu is a Chinese model with the sparkliest smile we ever did see. The divine human has been modelling for two years now and already has a stack of cute editorials up her sleeve, the latest of which you can peep in the gallery above.
New CPC friend Kristen Coleman dressed Liu up in some of the snazziest clothes she could find—a bit of Gucci, a dash of Prada, and a whole lot of Romance was Born and Camilla and Marc—and then longtime CPC friend Sarah Adamson captured the magic down at Maroubra beach in Sydney. Nosy as ever, we then probed her about the best malls and food in China, what words of wisdom guide her through life, and what she does outside of work, which you can read all about in Chinese and English below.

How did you get into it?
I entered a modelling competition.
What’s the best thing about your job?
Being able to take a lot of cool photographs.
What do you like to do outside of modelling?
Reading suspense genre books, fitness and photography.
Where would you take someone visiting your hometown for the first time?
Beijing—it’s a beautiful city!
Best place to eat, drink and shop in your hometown?
Beijing has a lot of huge shopping malls. I recommend heading to the XiDan, GuoMao and WangFuJing areas.
What’s your favourite food？
Chinese hot pot.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Be down-to-earth and work hard.
What’s the coolest or most interesting thing you’ve learned recently?
I’m currently learning how to ski.
What are you most excited about in 2020?
Being able to go to Paris to attend Fashion Week.
