Fashion week is beautifully chaotic, and nothing beats sneaking backstage to hang with the real MVPs — the models. Somehow, amid the madness, they're always the ones keeping it cool. We caught up with a handful of sweet humans at Tuesday's Bianca Spender show. Say hi to Nevaeh, Lucy, Sienna, Sherry, Tari and Nicole.

I wore a gorgeous flowy top & skirt combo with a snake skin rope as a belt and beautiful burgundy gloves.
What goes through your head as you’re walking the runway?
“take your time” but also “serve”.
How do you pass the time when waiting around before a show?
I like to play card games, its a fun way to meet and talk to new people.

How do you switch off once Fashion Week wraps?
Do not disturb, a face mask and a beef brisket burrito [laughs].

Tell us about the look you wore for the Bianca Spender show:
I felt very cool, I wore a neutral short set with a belt tie and glass jewellery. I love when clothing has texture, structure & a fab silhouette. Bianca always makes me look and more importantly, FEEL beautiful.
What goes through your head as you’re walking the runway?
It can be so chaotic and busy backstage that actually getting to walk the runway is when you can shut off. Many people say they have to “lock in” but I think I walk best when I “lock out”, I reach a flow state with the music.
How do you pass the time when waiting around before a show?
The beauty of Australian fashion week (for me) is getting to walk shows with friends I made early in my career. It’s a yearly reunion and long awaited catchup for a lot of us.

How do you switch off once Fashion Week wraps?
I literally touch grass. I go swim at the beach as much as I can, I drink a lot of coconut water and do extensive skin and hair care.

Tell us about the look you wore for the Bianca Spender show:
I wore a beautiful long see through dress with dots on it in the color of my skin tone. It looked and felt like it belongs to my body or is a body part of my mine! I loved the look!!
What goes through your head as you’re walking the runway?
I imagine the audience consists of friends and family to whom I present the clothes I have just bought on my shopping trip. I try to concentrate on mogging and not tripping!
How do you pass the time when waiting around before a show?
I often read or write my diaries since i love to keep every thought and special moment like backstages in my diary! I also love to talk to all the interesting talented people behind the camera but if i'm too tired i just put my headphones on and daydream or people watch, there's so much chaos to track!!
If Fashion Week was a song, what would it be:
'Les' by Childish Gambino FOR SUREE it always reminds me of iconic runway walks and the model life during fashion week!
How do you switch off once Fashion Week wraps?
I often don't! I continue to walk down the street as if i'm on a runway and the passengers are my audience. It's difficult to just switch back to normal after such big excitements...

Look at the camera and get that moment.

Sleep and stay at home to recharge my social battery.

I wore this beautiful blue dress that draped across the shoulders. Accessorised with silver accent jewellery.
What goes through your head as you’re walking the runway?
Making sure I do the walk properly and I don’t miss a turn. Keeping a steady pace and not rushing while also relaxing my face.
How do you pass the time when waiting around before a show?
Headphones in listening to music otherwise I’ll chat to the other models.
If Fashion Week was a song, what would it be:
'Singing in the rain' because a lot of the shows were in the rain.
How do you switch off once Fashion Week wraps?
Looking forward to a sauna and a massage after fashion week.

My look was very light and elegant, and the gloves made it super classy and chic. The belt made the whole outfit connect and finished it nicely.
What goes through your head as you’re walking the runway?
Walk slow and don't fall over 😅
How do you pass the time when waiting around before a show?
I was chatting with a lot of people and getting to know the other models.

How do you switch off once Fashion Week wraps?
I'm going back home to my family and will relax there with them.
