Meet Our Newest CPC Muse, Bianca Martinello

Gadigal Land

— October 20, 2023 —

At just 18 years old, Bianca Martinello, better known as Bibi by her friends and family, is taking the modelling industry by storm, turning her “family dream” into her newfound reality.

We don’t know about you, but at 18, we were still figuring out many (if not most) of life’s quirks. Confused at the world, likely lusting over a fictional heartthrob whilst wearing matching flannelette pyjamas and adding yet another Gossip Girl scene outtake to a Pinterest board. As for this 18-year-old, things are looking a little different. Since taking flight from her Brazilian nest to Australia, she’s quickly proving her talents, already working with some of the world’s most notable creatives and acclaimed brands.

Behind the designer looks, high fashion glam and sky-high heels, Bibi can’t help but remain effortlessly authentic. On the days she’s not found making magic behind the camera, you can find her photographing landscapes and wandering new pastures in her Havaianas sandals. Clearly, you can take the girl out of Brazil, but you can’t take Brazil out of the girl.

We always count our lucky stars when we get the opportunity to shoot gorgeous talent with an equally gorgeous team of creatives, including very talented Sydney photographer Blake Azar, Stylist and BFF of CPC Gemma Keil and hair and makeup guru Jasmine Abdallaoui.

Donned in a multitude of both men’s and women’s Celine looks from their 2023 collections, all hand-picked by stylist Gemma to fit Bianca’s style and personality. From tiger-striped trousers and crystal embossed glistening kitten heels and jackets, we think it’s safe to say Gemma really hit the Slimane ball out of the park.

Name: Bianca Martinello

A name your family or friends call you: My friends and family love to call me by my name, “Bianca”, or by two simple, affectionate nicknames “Bibi or Bi”.

Age:18

Age you feel: I recently turned 18, and it's been a very important phase for me. However, everyone always tells me that I look older than I really am because my words and attitudes are inspiring and captivating. So sometimes I ask myself, “Should I really be 18, or is it just an illusion?” But in a way, I find it fun to think about sometimes.

Three things you’re loving right now:
I love myself, I love strawberries, and I'm loving Australia.

How was the CPC shoot? Tell us all!
It was a very important experience, as I met incredible people, and I was also able to show my potential as a model and as a person (I hope to have incredible opportunities like this in the future).

Where adid you grow up, and how do you stay connected to your homeland?
I talk to my family almost always via video call, and it's hard not to miss them since I'm miles away from my country – Brazil.

Can you tell us how and why you got into the industry?
My mother and sister had the dream of being models, but at the time, it didn't work out very well. A few years ago, I decided I wanted to be a model, so we tried to make this family dream come true. And now, my sister and I are making this dream come true, and we are very happy.

How do you typically spend a day off?
In my free time, I like to do new and educational activities such as cooking, taking photos of landscapes, going for a walk and getting to know other cultures.

If you could only watch one movie/show for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
It's very difficult to answer this question, but I think I would choose between 3 of my Favorites, which are - The Adventures of Bernardo and Bianca, Unfortunate Events and Cuphead.

What’s your go-to outfit?
The best outfit is Havaianas sandals, wearing comfortable shorts and a blouse - very Brazilian, haha!

What are you currently reading, watching and listening to?
I like reading poems, suspense and romance like the book Rio de Tinta – Analattaruli. I love watching cartoons and old series like Everyone Hates Chris, and my taste in music is varied; I listen to a little bit of everything.

What’s one piece of advice you’ve been given in your lifetime that instantly comes to mind?
“You are the strongest and most dedicated person I know. Never forget that your family will always love you and support your dreams.” - These words were spoken by my dear sister Breatiz.

If you were a potato chip flavour, what would it be and why?
I would be a homemade potato because when you cook, you can create your own recipe and always innovate!

What are your summer plans?
My plan is to be with the people I love, go to the beach to sunbathe and eat a Rubacão with Brazilian Açaí, which should not be missed.
